Women or men? Who are better communicators?

Almost every list of great speeches in history is dominated by speeches by men. If it's business presentations, they talk about Steve Jobs; if it's motivational speeches, they reference Churchill; if it's human rights, all hail Gandhi and Martin Luther King.

What about all the great speeches by women?

Public speaking skills like most everything else are not more often found in any race, religion or gender. I've heard great speeches by a 13 year old boy, a 6 foot tall transgender woman, and a paralysed scientist. They just don't get as much publicity.

So, let's put this nonsense right!

Here is my personal list of the great speeches by women. I think #1 will surprise you.
